Ask a question

I read every submission. I reply to most within a week - sometimes faster if the question is sharp.

The best questions are specific. "Should I study abroad?" is too broad for a useful answer. "I am a 24-year-old mech engineer, family income ₹12L/year, looking at MS in Canada with a ₹35L loan, parents nervous about repayment - what should I be checking?" is the kind of thing I can actually help with.

If your question is general, search the site first - there is probably an article that already covers it. If it is specific to your situation, send it here.

What gets a real reply

  • Your age, field, and where you are in the journey (researching / applied / departed / abroad / returned).
  • The country or two you are weighing.
  • Family income, loan amount you are considering, and what you would have earned staying in India.
  • The specific question, not the general one.
